PART I: POSITIVE SCHOOL LEADERSHIP presented by DR. DAVID PELCOVITZ, Ph.D.
In these three sessions Dr. Pelcovitz will expose participants to habits of mind and habits of action that directly impact on their effectiveness as school leaders. Challenges facing school leaders in the area of faculty and student engagement will be explored through the lens of positive psychology and motivation. Participants will learn multiple strategies to bring back to their school setting that directly impact engagement of all stakeholders.

STRESS MANAGEMENT
Identify the sources of stresses facing educators today, Identify the stresses that their stakeholders face, Utilize stress management strategies to perform more effectively in their role as school leaders.

MINDSETS IN EDUCATION
Identify ten school mindsets that promote effective learning and a positive school culture,Use strategies for implementation in elementary, middle and high school settings, include attitudes of teachers as well as students, Develop 21st century skills in the students they serve.

POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY
Identify four positive psychology principles that positively impact motivation and collaboration of teachers and students, Use strategies for implementation in elementary, middle and high school settings.
